Hello! My name is Payton Breidinger. I'm originally from a small town just 20 miles west of Allentown, but I currently reside in Quakertown, PA. In may of 2021, I graduated from Penn State's University Park campus with a Bachelor of Arts in advertising/public relations and a minor in communication arts and sciences. 

 

For as long as I can remember, I've loved to tell stories. My first-ever dream job was to become an author, and at 12 years old I convinced my parents and relatives to pay me monthly (just $0.25!) in return for a family newsletter. You might have guessed it, but going into business that young didn't hold up for very long. 
 

Nonetheless a passion for writing and telling stories has prevailed throughout the years. I couldn't have known it back then, but my creative drive would serve me well throughout college and into my professional life. At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, I launched my own blog to not only hone in on my writing skills, but as a coping mechanism and means of sharing my experiences with others. Later in college I also wrote - and eventually became a section editor - for online magazine, Her Campus, and enjoyed my time pitching and writing feature stories.

I now serve as the marketing and communication specialist for Living Branches, a continuing care retirement community, in Souderton, PA. Since my start in June 2021, I have been responsible for managing content on the company website and social media accounts, creating display advertisements, and producing communications materials (posters, newsletters, brochures, etc.) for both internal and external use. I also play a substantial role in creating copy for Branching Out, Living Branches' magazine that gets published three times per year.
